About us

We are Anna Francesca Rosudottir and Steinar Ludviksson.

Anna got her first dog at six years of age and was that a Labrador Retriever female named Vöku Lara but she died at nine years of age. Few years passed until Anna and her mother, Rosa got another dog because the grief of loosing Lara.
In the year 1999 Anna and her mother got Leiru Þórshamar Týri, a wonderful Icelandic Sheepdog.
Anna’s mother had for many years dreamed about owning a Siberian Husky but there where no Siberian Husky’s in Iceland at the time. After a long search for the right breeder, Anna and her mother traveled to Italy to meet Paola Tomei, the owner of Ankalyn Kennel. After few months two females came to Iceland and a male year later.
After Anna and her mother got the Siberian Husky’s, Anna’s interests in the outdoors increased and she likes nothing more than putting the dogs on the sled and take off.

Anna competed in Junior Handling for some years and became the top junior handler of 2003 and 2004 in Iceland. She got to represent her country in the Junior Handling finals at Crufts in 2004 and 2005. She was chosen to be in the Kennel Clubs board of Youth.

For four years Anna was also a contact person for Siberian Husky’s in Iceland but had to quit when she moved to Sweden.

Steinar got his first dog when he was 14 years old and that was the Siberian husky dog Marvin but then he was living in Spain with his mother. Marvin was stolen one day in front of their house one and was never seen after that.
Steinar’s field of interests changed after he had Marvin. He became more interested in working with dogs and wanted a more demanding dog. It wasn’t until Steinar was twenty-one years old that he got his first and only Dobermann, Huldu Loyal Champ.

In the fall of 2004 Steinar enrolled into the University of Iceland, department of geology and geography. Today he is studying for his Masters exam in physical geography and quaternary geology.

It is an amusing fact that Anna and Steinar started dating at a breeding seminar held by the Icelandic Kennel Club in October 2005.
They enjoy having the same hobby, which brought them together.

In the year 2007 Steinar, Anna, Champ and Queen moved to Sweden because of Steinar´s studies. In Sweden they got to know wonderful people that will always be in our hearts.

Today they have four dogs, Champ the Dobermann, Queen the German Shepherd and the two Flatcoated Retriever females Joy and Bliss.
